Terms and conditions & privacy

These general terms and conditions apply to all orders and sales transactions via the website bulliesteashop.com. Placing an order in our web shop implies that the customer/buyer accepts the general terms and conditions. White Cliffs Trading BV, the seller, reserves the right to change and/or supplement these general terms and conditions at any time for future orders. The conditions that applied at the time of the conclusion of the agreement apply to current agreements.

2.The buyer/customer 

White Cliffs Trading BV only allows adult buyers to use the web shop bulliesteashop.com. Minors must therefore contact an adult in order to make purchases. White Cliffs Trading BV cannot be held liable for non-compliance with this rule and the sale transaction cannot be declared null and void on the basis that the customer is or was not of legal age at the time of the sales transaction. 

Bulliesteashop.com is aimed at a B2C audience, i.e. private customers. The target audience of bulliesteashop.com is therefore the end consumer, not companies that buy goods to resell them. B2C customers, companies, should contact White Cliffs Trading BV via bullie@bulliesteashop.com so that we can make agreements about a service adapted to companies. 

3.Offers and agreements Offers 
are valid while stocks last or until the announced end date. An agreement is concluded when an email is sent to the email address provided by the customer to confirm his order. The customer and White Cliffs Trading BV expressly agree that a valid agreement can be concluded by using electronic forms of communication. In particular, the absence of an ordinary signature does not affect the binding force of the agreement. To the extent permitted by law, the electronic files of White Cliffs Trading BV are considered a presumption of proof. 
White Cliffs Trading BV reserves the right to refuse orders in the following cases: 

• when a product is out of stock, 

• in the event of serious suspicion of abuse of rights or bad faith on the part of the customer, 
• when White Cliffs Trading BV identifies a quality problem with a product at the time it needs to be sent to the customer, 
• in case of recall of a product by the producer or in case of problems with a product reported by competent authorities, 
• in case of force majeure. 

4.Prices 
All prices are expressed in euros and include VAT and exclude shipping costs.  

White Cliffs Trading BV pays excise duty and packaging tax on its products to the Belgian State upon importation into Belgium. These are therefore included in our sales price displayed in our web shop and therefore do not have to be paid extra by a private buyer established in the EU. 

The price stated in the email confirming an order is the price owed by the customer. Special offers are only valid while stocks last. 

White Cliffs Trading BV reserves the right to change the price of a product at any time, but the products are always invoiced on the basis of the applicable rates at the time of the conclusion of the agreement. 

5.Payment 
Online payment can be made with a Visa or Mastercard, Bancontact, PayPal. Confirming the order means that it is paid for by the buyer/customer. White Cliffs Trading BV only sends the ordered goods after payment. 

Any inaccuracies in the invoicing must be reported by the customer directly to bullie@bulliesteashop.com, so that we can correct the error. The contact form in our web shop may also be used for this. 

6.Shipping and delivery times 
The shipment of the ordered products takes place within three working days after receipt of payment. In most cases, the shipment takes place within one to two working days after receiving the payment. No delay in delivery can give rise to termination of the purchase or payment of damages for the benefit of the Buyer, except in the event of deliberate delay. Incorrectly provided delivery addresses are the responsibility of the buyer and may give rise to additional costs. Unless otherwise indicated, our prices do not include the transport and delivery of the goods to the buyer, these costs are stated separately. We have the right to make partial deliveries. White Cliffs Trading BV cannot be held responsible for the damage, theft or loss of goods during shipment. We do everything we can to pack the goods as well and safely as possible. 

In the unlikely case of damaged goods we ask you to mail us the following photos: 

• Photo of the entire parcel 
• Photo of the parcel with the label visible and readable 

• Photo of the packaging (inside of the parcel) 
• Photo of the damaged product 

With these elements White Cliffs Trading BV will try to obtain compensation for the damage by the carrier and will inform you of the result.  

It is also possible to pick up your order in our store in Ostend, Christinastraat 56. 

7.Shipping cost 

Shipments outside our neighbouring countries (we are in Belgium) can only be made with explicit agreement. Send us an email or use the contact form if you want to have your order shipped to another country. 

8.Products 
We strive to ship products with a freshness date that is as far in the future as possible. Of course, this varies from product to product. We cannot accept complaints about the freshness date if this is the normal period for the product concerned. If the customer has specific requirements about this, it is best to contact us in advance by telephone, mail or via the contact form on bulliesteashop.com. 

We are not the producer of the products we sell. We strive to always show correct images of the products in our web shop with a correct description, but cannot be held responsible for a sudden change in packaging by the producer. If only the packaging changes, this cannot be a reason for the customer to cancel the sale or this cannot be the subject of an admissible complaint. 

White Cliffs Trading BV cannot be held responsible for the incorrect use of a product by the buyer. Our web shop bulliesteashop.com lists the allergens of each product. White Cliffs Trading can therefore not be held responsible in case of allergic reactions of users. Our customers can always contact us for information about allergens. 

9.Cancellation of an order – right of withdrawal 
A customer may, within 14 days from the day following the delivery of a product, cancel the purchase of a product without giving a motive or without payment of a fine. In this case, we ask you to fill in our return form immediately after delivery and to return the products within 14 calendar days from the day following delivery. This is only possible if the product has not been used and the packaging is undamaged and unopened. In case of cancellation, we will refund the purchase price and the shipping cost of the initial order within 14 calendar days after receipt of the returned products. The shipping costs for the return are at the expense of the customer. 

It is also the responsibility of the customer to ensure that the returned goods are properly packaged so that they are not damaged during the return. Unfortunately, we cannot issue a refund for damaged products. Not even for products that have been opened and/or where the packaging seal has been broken. 

The right of withdrawal also does not apply to products with a short freshness date. This is when the freshness date falls within the period of 14 calendar days after receipt. 

10.Retention of title 
The delivered goods will remain our property until full payment has been made, including all costs and charges, default interest and fees. In case of non-payment, we have the right to take back the goods at the expense of the buyer. 

11.Applicable law 
All orders concluded with White Cliffs Trading BV are governed by Belgian law. Only the Belgian courts have jurisdiction. Our company falls under the commercial court of Ghent –  department Ostend. 

12.Privacy 
For communication with our customers and the smooth processing of orders, we keep a selection of personal data. 

We undertake never to pass on the data of our customers to third parties. You can view, change or have your personal data deleted in whole or in part at any time. This can be done by sending an email to bullie@bulliesteashop.com with your request for change or deletion. No data or photos from our site may be copied or used without our express permission. 

13. Complaints 
We recommend that you first make complaints known to us by emailing bullie@bulliesteashop.com or by using the contact form.    

Consumers in the EU can report complaints via the ODR platform of the European Commission. This ODR platform can be found on http://ec.europa.eu/odr . If your complaint is not yet being processed elsewhere, you are free to file your complaint via the European Union platform. 

14. Additional costs when selling 
White Cliffs Trading BV sells its products VAT included. The shipping costs are calculated at the conclusion of the sales transaction. Any additional costs such as customs fees, import duties, excise duties are borne by the buyer.
